Create a Natural Filter Environment

The fluid bed filter imitates the tumbling filter method of natural riverbed sand and gravel. Continuous tumbling of the bio filter media can accelerate the cultivation of nitrifying environment. The small air stone creates bubbles which will not only help to increase the dissolved oxygen in the water, but also drive the movement of the bio filter media.

The bio filter media balls collide with each other, enable self-repair and then work again. So there is no need to replace the bio filter media.

Double Physical Filter

It features double physical filter which is composed of bottom filter cover and filter sponge. The reinforced ABS filter cover will protect the fish from being sucked in without affecting water intake. The filter sponge can filter large particles of impurities.

Disassembly and assembly of the fluid bed filter is very simple. You can easily remove it for cleaning. It is suitable for freshwater and saltwater fish tanks, turtle tanks, shrimp tanks, aquaponics, aquaculture, hydroponics, ponds, etc.

Directions for Use

The fluid bed filter must be used with an air pump. Connect it with an air pump with a hose, and put it in the fish tank, it will work as desired. Please choose a powerful air pump for this filter according to your tank size, and install the air pump correctly to avoid water backflow.

1. It is recommended to soak the filter for 1-2 hours before use.

2. The package comes with 4 powerful suction cups which can be used to firmly fix the filter on your fish tank.

Question:Does the top of the filter need to be completely submerged or can it stuck out of the water column?
Answer:  Hello, the top can leak out of the water surface, it is recommended not to stay away from the water surface, it is not conducive to dissolving oxygen in the water.

Question:How often do filter materials need to be replaced?
Answer:  Hello,The filter materials collide with each other, are regenerated and replaced, and the filter materials self-repair and then work again. There is no need to replace the filter materials.

Question:Can this be used as a sand filter?
Answer:  If you decide to use it with sand I'd try to keep the bottom of the filter at least 2" above the sand or you'll be rinsing the sponge in the bottom often.

Question:How many gph on the large?
Answer:  It really depends on the amount of air. This thing need quite a bit of air to get the media to move well. I’d guess this would be similar in flow to a large sponge filter.
